can some one help me out with goverment grants?

okay here is the deal. i have been talking to my dads accountant bc i am very interested in starting my own buissnes. she told to look into a federal govermant grant or loan. have just started doing research today on this. i just need to help on understanding the reqiurments, guidlines, terms and just anything else i would need to know. any and all help will be repped.

It really depends on what kind of business and background you have. We have looked into it for my shop but it just seems to be to much work for us. But I would say to use only www.grants.gov website don't recomend using third party.
