Default Am I really the only MINI owner here?

Well, I guess it's time I introduced myself. I'm Jenn, 28, live up in Buckhead, Brookhaven specifically.

I'm an accountant. I know, pretty nerdy but it lets me drive this car and I really like it. Sorry, I'm a bit of a nerd. I've been interested in cars since I was a kid. I have a mom that drove a 69 Firebird and loves muscle cars so it was bound to happen. I'm a little more obsessed though.

In my spare time I like to travel as much as possible. I've been to well over half the states and hoping to add some new countries soon. I also really like video games. I'm mostly on the XBox playing Forza or Halo 2 but I've been gaming for years. I was kicking ass in high school at MK and Street Fighter and have never stopped playing. Counterstrike was not good for my grades in college.... but come on.... I was a programming student, what did anyone expect? I like action movies, hate chick flicks. If there are swords, pirates or epic battles, I like them even more.

I just moved back to Atl about a year ago. I'm mostly grew up Columbia, SC but have also lived in Atl before, Charlotte, NC as a child and Indianapolis for 2 years until I moved back here.

Up in Indy I mostly ran with the MINI club up there. Some pretty darn good drivers, too bad there was ice half of the year. I am too southern for that shit.

My recents highlights have been being back in the south and only 2 hours from the Dragon, which I love. I went to SEMA last year, I go to the Chicago auto show every year, I've done a few MINI rallies and lots of organized drives.

Not sure what else there is to say so here are some pics.

    My car.

    2006 MINI Cooper S
    6-Speed
    16% reduced supercharger pulley
    CAI
    comp. rear sway bar
    lowering springs
    tint
    LSD
    mesh grills on the front
removed and painted the side grills on the A panel black
    denso iridium plugs
17" Rota Sub Zeros - flat black with custom red lip painted to match body color
    215/45 17 Falken GR Beta 415's
A few factory bits are the panoramic sunroof, heated seats, Harmon Kardon sound system, fogs lights on the front and rear, power everything, anthracite interior and headliner that makes the entire inside of the car nearly black
Last dyno put me at about 190 at the crank, that was before the CAI though so I'd guess about 197-200 now. Not bad for a 2500 lb car

Much more to come. Next on my list are bigger brakes, exhaust and software upgrade. And of course... track time!

(I snagged this one from someone I know, great pic though, the color was better than in mine)

And a few from when she was a little more stock... come on.. the car is only 5 months old

    Me, having a "moment"

And finally, my old MINI. This was my 2004 Cooper S. Got her in May of 04 and traded her in for the 06 just a few months ago. Yes, I like red. A lot.
