    Default Howdy!

I live in FL, but know a bunch of folks in the Atlanta area. I do have an import, though not the usual. I have a 1973 MG Midget. I did a motor swap, redesigned the suspension, and generally turned it into a fun car. I am here to do some reading, perhaps learn a few things.

    Hawt dog!

Welcome to the forum. Ignorant question, how did you marry an motorcycle engine with what seemingly is an automobile style clutch/shifter set up?

Got any pictures of the beast?

I welded a driveshaft yoke to a front sprocket and longitudinally mounted the engine, used the motorcycle clutch and gearbox.

Looooong build thread with tons of pics here...

Yes, very fun to drive. It is just too loud inside right now with a bare shell. It needs sound mat and carpet.
