Thread: FNG from Florida

    Default FNG from Florida

Whats up guys? Name is Toby, 23 years old. Just moved back to Atlanta from Ft. Myers and Tampa Florida. I lived here till I was 11, then moved down to Tampa, and stayed there until I went to college in Ft. Myers. Just moved back up here in May, I've been big on car forums since I was 16. Tamparacing.com, Need2speed.com just to name a few.

Anyway, I've got a 98 WS6, white, auto, slow. I've had everything from my first car which was a 95 eclipse RS, then I had a Turbo 1g Talon (Which got me in a lot of trouble), sold that and got a 97 Corolla. Got tired of that after a while, and picked up an 89 BMW 325i. That was a fun car.....Until I totaled it in a rain storm doing 80mph into a ditch. Found my current car at the job I worked at, (Car auction) and have been rocking it since November. I love it.

Looking to find some meets and people who share the same interest in cars as me. We used to have meets in Ft. Myers on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Weds. I had a good group of friends down there, and hope to start the same up here. I'm big on Photography so if any of you need pictures of your car, I do them for free. Mostly because I enjoy photography as a hobby enough that I don't mind. I love doing rolling shots, so anyone in need of them let me know and I'll be more than happy to try and get them for you.

Any other questions just ask I guess. Thanks!

Yeah, I got two flickr accounts haha. I do a bit of everything, although I have found I am very good at automotive shoots. I used to have a 17-35 2.8f wide angle. I just sold that and my D3000 to get the D90 and two other lenses along with my 50 1.8f I already had. I love photography in general.

NICE! I'm actually really looking forward to Road Atlanta and being able to go and shoot there. I shot at Sebring A LOT and really enjoyed that. I also shot at the St. Petersburg Grand Prix earlier this year. I hope to be able to do the same here, especially since I just picked up the 70-300mm VR.

Btw, are there any organized meets and what not? I know it was easier when I was in Ft. Myers because it's a small city, but what's it like here?

I thought I recognized your signature! What's good dude? Yeah I'm hoping it's like FMR but bigger like TR. I'm over in the Atlantic Station area, so Varsity is right down the street.

Moving from Florida to Georgia. How tragic is that, man?

Welcome to IA regardless, though. Later, QD.

Welcome. I'll take you up on rolling shots once the car is rolling again. You should change that whole "stock" thing by buying my 02+ LS6 cam and valvesprings.
