    Default New guy here from Winder

    What's up everyone?? Figured I'd join up here too.... I see a few familiar faces from the local motorcycle forums, so some may know me too. But for those that don't.... my name is Jared, I live in Winder and my rides are: '04 CBR 600 F4i and an '89 Accord LX-i. The bike is pretty much my daily transportation, and the Accord is more or less for backup (heavy rain, hauling stuff, ect). It pretty much sits in the driveway most of the time these days.... poor thing. I've had the Accord since July 2000, and the bike since October 2004

    Anyways... a few pics

    Bike... still in pretty good shape for 144,000 miles







    The car..... well it's turning into kind of a beater, as 13 salty Chicago winters have not been kind to the body. I don't have too many recent pics, I think this was from about 4 years ago. I've since put the stock wheels and tires back on, rust is spreading even more, and the clearcoat is peeling. 390,500 miles though and she still runs like a top.... no show car but definitely a workhorse

    I am up in Winder too. Can't miss my car really. What part you at? I am actually between Athens and Downtown Winder. If you see my ride, don't be afraid to shout at me. I am pretty down to earth. Good to have you aboard.

    Yeah I know that place. I was just up that way today (had to drop my niece off at the daycare just past the Home Depot). I usually stay within the area of Home Depot and Athens. The only other places I go (because I am boring as hell) is Gainesville (for work) and Lawrenceville (my bro's).

    Perhaps a Winder car/bike meet might be in order soon. Get to know some locals. Sometimes I play poker at Murphy's Brass Rail on Sundays. I wouldn't suggest that as a meet. I'd say something like Ingle's Parking lot first or something.

    I'd definitely be down for that. I've never been to Fort Yargo. I might see about getting a few guys to come that aren't in Winder. I didn't know they had grills or anything like that there so that'd be a good idea. Is Yargo open during the "winter" months?

    Thanks!! Yea you can't go wrong with the F4i's... awesome all around bikes. My roomate has a 2001 F4i (silver/black) and he loves it too! I sure don't plan on getting rid of mine anytime soon
