Prelude from A-retta!

Hey guys!

My name is Karl Schranz. Ive lived in Atlanta (Alpharetta) 7 years now. Just want to introduce myself and my ride. I will be making it out to more of the meets once my turbo build is complete. So without furthur adue, here is my 2001 Honda Prelude-SH.

Its no longer an SH. Im rockin the JDM H22A Accord EuroR motor/tranny(LSD). It has just about every bolt on mod you can throw at it and right now Im in the midst of my turbo build.

Mods I'm Proud of:
-Zex 75 shot
-Wilwood 4 piston 13.25'' BBK
-17'' SSR GT1 Integrals (white! imported from Japan)
-OEM lip kit with the beautiful OEM Electron Blue Pearl
-Garrett GT35R turbo
-LoveFab Downpipe and Manifold
-Sparco Milanos w/ 4 pt harness
-ESP Traction Bar

cool, another turbo honda. isn't that turbo a little big for your engine, unless you have built internals but as they aren't on your "proud mod" list you wont be able to use that turbos full potential at all. my good friend here in columbus just upgraded his srt4 with a gt30r turbo and makes tons of power (~400whp). unless you plan on building a rediculous drag car you wont ever need a turbo that big, leave those to the evos and sti's

wow whatever that car looks awesome, and what you are doing is perfect. dont listen to what some jackasses are saying, youll make plenty of power on that setup, **** you could make plenty on all motor. car looks really good man.

he didn't list every thing he has on the car dumbass...a "built" motor is down the road...he's wanting reliable, power, fun....he's not going over 7psi till the motors built..

and for you to say "cool another turbo honda" is ignorant as ****, considering you drive a mustang...perhaps as outplayed as a modded civic..

haha yeah, sorry. As reaper mentioned there is a built motor coming soon. I wont be able to use the GT35 to its full potential until its built. So if that is how you welcome me to IA.....bashing me because you are an ignorant dumb @$$....then we will see whose stupid when my motor is pushing 500whp. yeah....10psi stock block then expect 18-20psi built.

by the way, I dont let people tell me how Im going to do something before I even get a chance to show any numbers on the dyno. I expect to make in the mid 300's stock bottom end then I want to make around 400whp built. Even though the turbos capabilities can climb into the upper 500's.

just for those who dont have faith in what a GT35 can do on a stock H22....then you can check out these videos of this guys H22 in his civic pushing 430whp and spanking the hell out of spraying and boostest stangs/cameros/R6's.....so before you judge, see what other can accomplish before you rip me apart halfway into my build.

Welcome to IA. Just a heads up, you better have thick skin to survive here. And from reading your post in here, I think you will do just fine.

Loving the Lude, I have had 2 in the past and still have one now. Hope to see the Beastly Beauty in person, pics do the EBP no justice.

I met you a couple years ago at some prelude meets we had from cardomain, when you had the Zex kit.

I had a dropped silver 5th gen back then. My friend who had a the black turbo prelude is on here (FRÖG). Nice to see that the prelude is coming along well.

Those are some bold claims and if you can live up to them then more power to ya. all Im saying is everyone i know that isn't boosted has plans to be "soon," and the ones that are boosted have plans to get a built motor "soon." just do the damn thing, get that **** fast and then we can all be friends. I'll be waiting to see if you really do join the 400+hp club... its worth it believe me.

The car went to his welder to get all of his fabrication work done this weekend while he's out of town. I'll be going up to Alphretta next weekend to help him with the install...the car was bone stock when he bought it...not 1 part is cheap on the car..Karl doesn't cut corners and I know what you mean with people say they have "plans"...when car says he's gonna do something...he f*cking does it.

To be honest if he's running 400+hp he'll never see traction, but thats just IMHO

yay yet another person giving the mustang crowd a bad rep. i love how you bought a pretty built gt, thats only in the 400+ crank power group. then you dog this guy for building a car from stock!

also to the OP nice car, only thing i dont relaly like is the exhaust tips they just dont look right! other than that beaiful car!

Oh and pjb, you say your car is never tracked and never will be. So what is your purpose of talking trash to a guy that is building his car and talking about not reaching full potential? and as transaxle stated, its always easier to let someone else do the work and buy the car as is, than it is to buy it, buy the parts, and build it right...

ok since people have taken interest in my car I can give yall an update... I got the car back and have been working rigerously on everything.

first note, yes i changed out that exhaust! looked terrible i know! so scroll down for the new pics. things are movin along as you will be able to notice in the pics. these pics are of this afternoon. Ive gotten a bit more done since then. trying hard to make it out to the Fayettevlle meet to debut this thing!
