    hey i'm new to ia... i'm driving a bone stock auto civic coupe and i'm selling it to get a good ride.... just seeing if anyone has any suggestions. so basically i'm 18 and i need a car that: decent on gas, wont eat me alive on insurance, manual trans, and probably around $8000 to $10000 is what i'm looking to spend. just askin around a little i've been told something along the lines of a ingetra type r... anybody got any advice or help?

    for that much you could get a "bugeye" subaru wrx or a golf gti

    almost every car will kill the insurance of a teenager(who doesn't rely on their parents). Get something like an older accord(3rd/4th gen) while saving some money

    you can't find a type r for 10000, and if you do then you are a very lucky man. I say buy a 2001 integra gsr and have some dollars left over to do some slight modding i.e. lowering, some nice wheels, HIDs, and the like. then just cruise

    you could be like all the other guys on earth with integras...not to say theyre not cool cuz they are fast...but test drive a miata brougham old or new its not gonna be the fastest car but its hella fun plus you can peel the roof back and show your ass. but cyea welcome to ia

    i agree get a miata...they are fun to ride in and u can find on easily for that price range go up to 14k and buy a mazdaspeed miata
