u wont get much help here wit a celica especially since everyone here calls them "chick" cars. there is probably a total of 10 2000+ celicas on this forum.
this is a pretty good forum to find local event and if u like to be smartass and a E-thug then this should be home for u.

yea its funny that everyone calls them chick cars but when u look on the road today u see more guys driving them than girls. But yea i already checked out newcelica.org and i dont really feel like payin for a membership just to talk to people when i can do that for free in the real world

It looks like everyone found out about this site by another person -- word of mouth would be the better term to use. Whereas I was searching through a few Georgia based forums looking for a car that would take me to work that not only ran properly, but also looked somewhat "cool." No luck. Til I kept looking and looking til I found a perfect car and when I went back to the other boards some members said to check on Importatlanta.com - that this site was huge when it came to selling cars for cheap. Decided to check it out and since I already had a car I thought "might as well join up." So I did.

So... to answer the original question I found out about this site through an encounter by an extraterrestrial being.

I clicked the wrong one. Meant to click search engine. When I moved down there Dec. of 06. I was drivin my EK when the timing belt took at shit with only 70K on it . Trashed the head, was looking for a new one. Came across IA. Was more into cars than just buying and selling stuff, so i stuck around. Now living in ohio, i still lurk frequently.

i actually heard about import atlanta like back in 2000, just never jumped aboard till now. im in japan right now for a deployment and trying to keep in touch with home and whats going down. i have been going to the varsity meets since the begining along with the old bp meet. trying to get my rep up so i can post pics of my fd i have here.
