1979 Honda CM400 Custom
I am selling my custom that has been with me for some time and gone through many changes since it was purchased. I have a 1979 Honda CM400 that stared out as a cafe bike and was turned into a mix of cafe, brat etc. I picked the bike up and it was running and riding nice and then proceeded to replace almost every piece of it with new and or aftermarket parts. It is by no means OEM but it is might as well have been and it will last and ride forever and be reliable for as long as you own it.
Here is the list of things replaced and or rebuilt.
New Drag Style Handlebars
New Spider Grips
New Shorty Brake and Clutch Levers
New Brake and Clutch Cables
Front Fork Seals have been done
New Steering bearings on neck
New Drum Brakes front and rear EBC Brand Name
New Tires Front and Rear Shinko Brand Name
Aftermarket 2 into 1 exhaust with shorty style muffler with baffle.
Gas Tank has been treated and repainted
New Custom Petcock and fuel hose
Carbs Have been rebuilt and tuned
Running Pod Filters
All seals and gaskets have been checked and or replaced
New Oil,Oil filter, and gasket
Clutch plates replaced and only have about 1000 miles
Transmission shifts smooth with no issues
Chain has been checked and serviced
New Rear Shocks with external reservoir
All Harness and Electronics are located under seat for easy access
New Custom Seat
Feel free to contact me and ask questions. You may come and see bike but if you wish to test ride you must have cash and a valid licensed as well as insurance.
Bike is a 79 so there is no title but if you want one you are more than welcome to contact the state and see about getting a replacement. I do have a VIN Verification form that will prove that this bike is legit and valid. This bike is currently registered under my name and plated.
I am open to offers but don't offer something that's low ball.
