Or try cycletrader.com. I believe they are owned by autotrader. You have to pay a fee ($20-50). But it was worth it. I sold my 05 CBR for 4 grand on there in about a week. Some guys from Alabama came and bought it, no hassle, no bs.

    "Dreaming"?...seriously?
Sometimes I wish people would keep their opinion to themselves....
$8500 isn't a bad asking price...especially when i'm not even trying to sell it.
stock ones are running x2 on mileage compared to mine and still wanting $5k... and i have that much in my paint and swingarm alone.
so for future reference, if you don't know what you're talking about, if you're undereducated, or if you have something negative to say...go vent to your mother.
Do not leave it on my thread. I don't have time for it.
Thank you and have a nice day.

oh, and thanks for your input since you "know" what most people like.
what the hell is up with these people on IA nowadays?
why can't you just either like the bike or get the fuck off of this thread.
If you aren't putting in an offer or buying it, I DON'T GIVE TWO FUCKS.
Thank you as well, sir. Have a great day.

929 is a classic and timeless bike.... the custom paint does take away from that. What people said so far is the truth....... if you watch a auto auction, the cars that go for big money are stock.... you wont see a souped up 66 Chevelle go for 300k.... no matter how much they spent on it. A custom painted prostreet 1000hp beast chevelle wouldnt pull the price of a numbers matching 454ss with low miles....

Kind of the same deal with your bike. What you spent on it doesnt mean that's what it's worth. The problem with a custom bike is that it's customized for you. Me personally, i love 929s.... and i absolutely hate your paint job.... but i recognize that its perfectly executed and an extremely nice bike. I'm sure a lot of other people feel the same way. If you had a stock 929 in mint condition with low miles... youd get your price....

but the type of person who would be willing to buy a bike that customized..... is gonna take that much money and buy something new. I know that upsets you, but its reality.

We were well aware that you had no intention of actually selling this bike as soon as we saw your asking price.

You're the one listing a phantom price on a bike that you're not looking to sell. "bullshit site". Bullshit ads like this are probably the worst problem this site has.

    We're the "fucking idiots" though.
