why has it been through 2 motors.
How much for the whole bike
Keeps dropping a valve.
Some of the bike has been sold, so can't sell the whole bike.

damn man i would have picked it up whole before the part out. sorry that you had so much trouble.
they dont keep dropping valves, R1 's are some of the bullet proof engines an trannys ever made, its the riders an cheap parts an maintance

my 04 r6 has 36k miles on it, and never gave me a problem.
Damn I saw this on R1-forum this morning. I was wondering how it kept blowing motors. Yeah R1s are very reliable. I guess you got a bad one and then probably bad machine work.
No PC3? And is the chain/sprocket combo stock gearing? Damn I forgot what stock gearing is on the 04-06s anyway.

had a pc3 and stock teeth sprocket 16/45 w/ 520 chain conversion.
I got a new 08r1 right now, I'm debating selling it, I'm kinda tainted on r1's now, Might just trade it in on a 08 r6
whats the price on the set of rims?

Rear wheel 150 shipped.
Might look the same, but r1 forks are a larger diameter. You can buy both forks and both triple trees and swap out the front end to be an r1

I am interested in bodywork(all), complete front end (trees, forks, etc), and subframe.
Unless you have complete frame and front end available as a whole.
