Starting with the bad:
1. There is a check engine light. There were 2 codes when I pulled last week. . . One for cat efficiency and one for a manifold pressure sensor.
2. The engine has a loud valve/lifter chatter on cold days that usually clears up once the car is warm. Supposedly this is a pretty common issue with the engine. It has been like this for over 50k miles without any sort of failure.
3. As pictured, the front bumper is torn up from running over an 18 wheeler tire, but there doesn't appear to be any other physical or cosmetic damage from the tire.
4. Body (paint job) and interior are somewhat beat up. 200k miles as a commuter car will tend to do that.
The good:
1. New CV axles.
2. New head unit.
3. New battery.
4. New shifter linkage bushings.
5. Car has been in my immediate family since 40k miles and received nothing but mobile synthetic.
Overall:
This car was beyond reliable for me for the 2-3 years I've had it. I did some work on it recently including the CV axles, shifter linkage and battery. If someone fixed the check engine codes . . I think they would have a pretty reliable car. I already have another car, so I am not interested in any trades.
