    converting the AWD transmission gives much added strength to the weaker areas of the trans, plus gives VERY long gearing such as 3rd gear running up around a 120+mph. plus a VERY long fifth for good gas mileage, and boost does love longer gearing.

    What is all converted? Is it just the tranny? Meaning if you pop a awd tranny on it'll be back to vr4 awd?

    the trans has been converted to an AWD tranny with the output shaft blocked off. this car was originally a base model n/a. i swapped all to gofast goodies on it and put in the stronger transmission. as stated above. you would need the rear diff installed and to put in a different VCU
