Difference b/w Factory Finish and Base Clear?

How good/bad is the Base clear compared to factory finish?

the only difference bewettn the regular basecoat clearcoat and the factory finish is that the factory finish system contails smaller metallics and pearls compared to the regular basecoat clearcoat.
the warranty is the same the clear is the same also the factory finish matches better than the basecoat clearcoat which is only designed for all overs and is the only thing we use in all our colission work.
