    Default 95 Miata AC Squeeling

I've noticed this a few times now: whenever I crank the car, if the AC is on, there is this pretty annoying squeal for a moment or so. It doesn't come on when the AC is off when I crank the car BUT if I'm driving and I turn the AC on, it does the same thing. I assume it's a belt that's loose or whatever... but I thought any somewhat-modern vehicle put all peripherals on a serpentine belt? Does the Miata have a separate belt just for AC?

fwiw, I've looked under the hood, but I don't know what I'm looking for/at in there.

Tips/advice would be appreciated. I know there are a few folks selling Miata parts on here, too, so don't be afraid to plug your sell

I'm sure some will disagree with this method but i have done it for many years now. If the belt squeaks or squels usually its dry rot and needs replaced.
I just put a little dab of oil just a few drops on it while its running and it will go away.
