Mazda Miata Engine Block Codes?

what are the block codes on mazda engines? and which dohc is prefered among most mazda drivers, i'm die hard honda but have recently purchased a b2200 i would like to swap over a miata engine into. but i have no clue about simplicity and or ease of installation into a b2200. or which would be better suited for the task?

b6 - 1.6 dohc
bp - 1.8 dohc

Fe3 - 2.0 Dohc - never came in a mazda in the states, but came in 1st gen kia sportages. Its an original mazda motor came in the 90's 626s overseas. the one in the kia is detuned, but its built the same. and is made off the B series motor listed above, just in a 2.0 liter form


id look into the newer ranger motors the 2.3 duratecs which are really good motors for boost
