    This car uses timing belt right? When was the last time it was replaced, do you know? Besides the brake problem, anything else?

    Yes it does and this car was owned prior by our neighbor and he had it serviced at the dealer for all the maintenance not that long ago.

    man these cars are plagued with these transmissions.... clean body...best way to fix would be a 5spd swap.

    good deal either way!

    ^ What he said. Honestly I'm surprised it made it to almost 200k. They normally go out before way before that, like 100K or less..
