I need more info on what was done. Sounds like you need to change valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals so far, check for a leaky cam seal, if it was installed improperly it can leak oil.

Ok, all of that WAS changed. The cam seal was changed which stopped the leaking from the side of the motor. The valve cover/spark plug tube seals were changed along with it. I'm talking about the seals below the cam. Those werent changed and I'm asking if it could be that.

Could have something to do w/ you dry revving the motor on a cold start @ BP 2 weex ago??? (if we are reffering to your EF/CRX). You abuse a motor - it abuses your wallet in retaliation.

I never dry rev my motor. It always must be at operating temp before I haul ass. I just so happen to purchase a neglected car I guess.

And that was only at 3000rpm. If I did, to show madmike the oil that would come out of it.

I guess me and Jermaine and Tony were all hallucinating as we were 10 feet from your car when you did it. My apologies homey. I hope u get it dialed in. It's likely NOT the VC gasket though if it's eating your cat.

Yea its below the VC gasket. If u've ever been below your rockers (if thats what they're called on smaller motors) the 4 seals that sit there. One that looks like a #8 and 3 circular ones.

Are you sure it's oil that ate the cat, or is it fuel?

Oh its oil. I can smell it, see it, touch it, look at it, watch it roll in the wind, see it in peoples headlight, cough because it floats into the cockpit.. All that. But it could be in combination with the cat. IDK what happens when a cat breaks up.

I am still trying to figure our what seals you are talking about below the cam, valve stem seals? If you had that bad of rings lol, the car would be stupid low on compression. but do a compression test and see where ur at.

Yea I'll try to get pics of those. I have them from Honda. If u've ever torn into ur engine deep enough to remove the cam there are 4 seals, just like the ones that cover the spark plug tubes, that sit right below those.
