I don't understand why it isn't possible to beat the R1, catch the guy in the wrong gear, or maybe a poor rider. Everyone knows what a car/bike runs on paper, but in real life is always a different story.
^X2! Thats what i was trying to tell the other two guys Maybe when the owner of the civic raced thr R1, that might of been the case. I dont recall scotty saying that the owner of the civic said he was racing a PROFESSIONAL rider or even an EXPERIENCED rider!, he just said "the owner of said vehicle today said he raced a '09 Yamaha R1 and it was @ his rear qtr from 2 to top of 3 gear. guy on bike was surprised and impressed. Thats all scotty said the owner said. Jeezy, whether the guy on the bike was a certain type of rider doesnt matter. Cant u guys just give a civic a little credit????
I hope the owner keeps smashing shit whether he has a k swap or H2b.......................

o i give a civic lots of credit but allmotor vs r1 from a roll isnt logical maybe a 500plus hp car.... but who knows and who cares... maybe he was in the wrong gear and the civic did win im just saying in a equal situation weight for weight motor for motor both hooking my money would be on the r1 all day everyday

i dont need luck i have experience its worth alot more you will see daniel son nice numbers like it sits no need in talking about what it will be its a beast now people should respect that.

They couldnt ride point blank i love that he kept up with one/beat it or whatever 90% of people who own STREET bikes cant ride. Running a time in a straight line and running around corners, wheelieing is a difference. I know what they run ive rode nearly ever liter bike there is on the track. Im not trying to blow this up either just stating facts. Good job to the owner of the car should be a solid low 11 sec. car depnding on chassis.
THATS ITS??!?!?!?!

252plus hp and 34.5 miles to the gallon all motor. 12.2 at 111
B series is my old car 237whp/159TQ or Bald Headed Dave from Streetstuff who made 237whp with his 2.0l LSVTEC. 2.0l B Series pump gas 12:1 compression. There has been NO credible evidence or dyno chart anywhere near that number. Ive seen a few 220s, but nothing over 230 out of a B Series. Im sure there MAY be some guy somewhere that has made that in GA and just doesnt get on the forums, but as far as proof, there isnt anything. Dave and i made the same power so we always joked we shared the crown.
K Series i believe is prob Gregg which IIRC he made like 27Xwhp or something out of a K24.
K Series 2.0l i believe goes to Chunky or Luis. I believe Luis old setup was 239whp, chunky made over 240 a few times with his 2.0l. Neither had "race motors". Both were medium compression or stock R bottom ends.
D Series i know Streetstuff made 198whp out of a Bisi built SOHC
H Series currently i would say belongs to H22 Jones. 25Xwhp. There was a motor from StreetStuff back in the day that made over 300whp but it was a carbed motor.
Most people refer to mainstreams dyno as the benchmark because 90% of all the all motor cars have dynoed there. So its a good measuring stick. There have been some people that go to Balanced or some other dyno and dynoed higher. But most people go to mainstream and use their dyno as 90% of all the high hp all motor cars have dynoed there. So if you make "XXX" whp you can kinda gauge where you are based on the other 2000 cars that have dynoed over there. And scotty has tuned almost all the high NA cars from mine, to h22 jones, to gregg, etc.
If you are talking track times, those belong to other people. Disco Monkey ran 11.Xs with a pump gas NA 2.0l CRX that prob never made more than 220. I beleive mosely is knocking on 11s in his car, and he tunes his own stuff.

disco went 11.60's and is the fastest NA honda to date in ga and al that i know of
i would agree i have not seen anyone go faster. his car was FAST. he was just a great driver and his chassis was setup perfectly.
Ball Headed Dave went 11.7s IIRC in his 237whp Civic Hatchback few years ago, but i havent seen anyone go sub 12s in awhile (at least with a B Series)
