1999 Civic Si EM1 Stock - $5000 OBO
I have a 1999 Civic Si EM1 that is completely stock up for sale.
I am getting a bigger family and need a bigger car to match.
Hopefully I can find this car a good home
Overall the car is in really great shape. I only use it as a daily driver these days. I am the original owner, clean title.
Exterior I would rate as a 7.5/10. It has a few paint knicks and some very small (almost unnoticeable) dents on the hood and door, you'd have to be right next to it. One of the rims has a small scuff on the outer lip, but for the most part is very clean.
Interior is probably an 7/10. The driver side visor has a tear in the fabric due to age and the driver floor mat has a hole worn through where my foot rests, but if those weren't there, cosmetically it would be a 8/10 easy. The radio doesn't work, but the CD player does, so that's probably the antenna. It does have an amp and 12" sub installed. Sound is fantastic, but is not a selling point for the car. The driver's side window does roll up and down, but I believe the clutch on the motor is bad so it doesn't seal tight. I currently have it mechanically locked all the way up to keep out the cold and weather. But that's easy to remove by taking off the door panel.
The engine has 217,200 miles on it. It does however run very well. The only major issue I have ever had is the radiator cracked. Car didn't overheat and Alan Cox replaced it. They also just recently replaced the timing belt and water pump. Oil was switched out to synthetic right after I bought the car. There is a very (very) slow oil leak at the VTEC solenoid. So slow that I don't have to top off oil in between oil changes. But from what I understand, that's pretty common on this car.
