    no thanks

a little more info on the engine

    F20B

This engine series was used in the CF4, CF5, CF9, CL3 Honda Accord and Honda Torneo from Japan. It uses a DOHC VTEC cylinder head similar to the H22A found in the Prelude but was designed to comply with many countries' sub-2.0 liter tax. The automatic transmission versions received the lower hp version (180 hp), as it was tuned for more mid-range torque than its manual transmission counterpart. The F20B manual version also utilized stronger cams, intake and throttle body from the H22 type S. The difference between f20b manual (200 hp) and auto (180 hp) is cams, intake, throttle body and the gearbox for manual come with t2t4.

    [edit] Specifications
    Accord SiR wagon, SiR-T F20B 97-01 2.0 L
Valve train: four-cylinder, DOHC VTEC, 16-valve
    Bore: 85.0 mm
    Stroke: 88.0 mm
    Displacement: 1997 cc
    Torque: 145 lb·ft (197 N·m) @ 5500 rpm
    Horsepower: 197 hp (147 kW) @ 7000 rpm
    Red line: 7400 rpm
    Compression: 11.0:1
    Fuel control: OBD-2

Bump - I'm looking for a prelude - but looking for stock, the F20b is better matched to a lighter car still unique though!

And did this used to be a SH? It has all the right parts..

the f20b moves this car a bit better than the H, and it's made better so it will last longer than the H, recently i pulled up close to like 2 bb6 at lights and they were both knocking lol, and you know your preludes, yes it used to be an SH (shift knob and wheels) :-) i still have the SH tranny/transfer case if someone wants to turn it back into an SH lol, i would not, SH are a b***h to work on and they not even worth it

I would say thats surprising, but you said its a relatively young JDM motor, so thats not surprising. It's not the first time I've heard of an f20b going into a BB6, but its not the most common thing. I'll second that comment about SH's being a pain to work on. It doesn't require personal experience to know that something like ATTS is going to be a biznatch to work on. After it goes out, it's almost impossible to repair, and becomes dead weight. Bump again for a clean looking Lude.

yeah, these engines only came in heavy cars, accord wagons and so forth, Honda did not put them in integras/civic for a reason, it's too heavy for them

oh yeah, torque is dope, i love anything with and h22 in it (except the h22a4, i hate those) im just saying from factory, it's not exessively heavy, just a bit more than a B series, you know how honda likes to have everything well balanced

it pulls VERY good, i mean it's the same crap as the H, just built better, the engine is healthy and low miles so of couse it's going to pull nice, i chose to spend a bit more for the F20B over the h22 because i have always liked this particular engine and the walls are iron, so you have a VERY good foundation for just dailying or build it for NA or boost, no need to send the block off to be sleeved. Let just say this guy has a bunch of money and he chose to go with the F20B for his bb4 over the H, and from what i can tell the internals of the F20B is still STOCK.
    http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/f...gineering.html

With a little bit of money you can get the engine on steroids like this one, but im not looking to put the car on steroids, right now it's just a stock quiet daily that i dont have to worry about the engine knocking or all the crazy crap that those a4s do
