Default FS: Rootbeer EG Hatch (Kosei/F&F/Beaks/Spoon/BuddyClub/Brembo/OEM JDM) Clean & Cheap

    ***SOLD***

Hello all. Well the time has come for me to move on and out of the hatch. I've had this thing for over 3 years now and it's been nothing but awesome to me the whole time. It's always a blast to drive and has never once let me down... though this past year or so I just haven't been giving it the attention it deserves. Not that I've neglected it by any means, but I just don't have the drive to keep sinking money into silly accessories for it. With that said, I'm really looking to get this thing into the hands of someone who can take it over and give it a new life.

    Overview:

    Year: 1994
    Make: Honda
    Model: Civic
Trim level: DX (base model, roll up windows, no sunroof)
    Motor: D16Z6 (SI)
    Transmission: S20 5 spd (SI)
Miles on motor: Title states "exempt" but according to a good guestimate against the former owner's bill of sale, I'd say somewhere around 205k+
Miles on shell: Cluster reads 268996, but it's not original. I'm guessing 280-290k+. Body doesn't reflect it in the slightest sense though.
Vin: 2HGEH246XRH52**** (full vin to interested buyers ONLY)
    Engine Block code: D16Z6 - 66199777
    Tranny Block code: S20 - 2085359

    Mods:

    Propulsion:
    D16Z6 w/ matching S20 transmission
    HAS AC & POWER STEERING
    Hasport Transmission mount
    No name 4-2-1 header
Custom intake utilizing the stock arm & airbox with ducting run to front fog light opening
    K&N air filter
    NGK Iridium plugs
    Polished stock fuel rail
    Charcoal canister removed
Hid and tucked a few wires here and there
    Full 2 3/8" Tanabe Exhaust
Vibrant 2 1/2" straight thru Muffler
    Test pipe/resonator

    Exterior:
3 year old Kandy Rootbeer Metallic paint (ALL door and trunk jambs are painted as well)
OEM JDM SIR Stanley corner lights
    OEM ex/si/sir front lip
    OEM mud flaps
Color matched Kandy Rootbeer CF duckbill (tinted clear so CF still shows through)
PIAA Intense White 4300k Halogen bulbs
    Shaved front emblem

    Interior:
    Spoon Duracon shift knob
    B&M Short shifter
OEM JDM ITR red stitched shift boot
Kenwood iPod & USB compatible headunit
Polk Audio 6 1/2" Door speakers
Polk Audio tweeters custom mounted in door panels

    Suspension/Brakes:
CRX Function & Form Type 1 full bodied coilovers
    CRX front forks
No name front and rear strut bars
    Megan Racing C-Pillar Bar
    Beaks lower tie bar
Skunk 2 lower control arms (with semi-new bushings)
    Front lower H-Brace
Full Energy Suspension master bushing kit
    Brembo front drilled rotors
Goodridge front Stainless Steel braided brakelines
    Satisfied GranSport front pads
    Satisfied GranSport rear shoes
ARP extended studs front & rear
    SPC adjustable rear camber arms

    Wheels & Tires:
    16 x 7.5 et +22 front / +32 rear Kosei K1 (10mm spacer in front)
205/40/16 Nexen N3000 tires (all need replacing soon)
12 Buddy Club forged extended lug nuts / 4 Blox forged extended lug nuts

    Goods:

Car was auto up until about 4 1/2 years ago, where a proper 5 spd conversion was done along with a ~160k z6 swap by previous owner, who was a ASE Certified master technician... who also by chance serviced the car at the dealership for the 2 owners previous to him
    No leaks
Transmission was totally rebuilt before installing
Water pump & timing belt were done around the same time
Alternator and starter have both been replaced within the past 2 years
Both axles were replaced about a year ago
Tie Rod ends were done about 6 months ago
Both front and rear fenders are professionally rolled
Previous owner stripped interior completely and pressure washed/scrubbed all inner sheet metal before re-installing every piece securely and properly
Carpet is original I believe, and still close to perfect
Interior as a whole is virtually crack/rip/tear/fade/stain/burn/scratch free
Little to no rattles or random noises (which makes or breaks a car IMO)
Car handles great with suspension/chassis bracing yet is still very comfy for daily driving, which is what I did
Drivers seat cover was stripped off, and inner foam was shaved down for a more bucket-seat type feel. This was done very well and really hugs you in well for a stock seat
Cargo cover is still intact and in like new condition
Front fender liners have been trimmed in half for clearance, still retaining the back half to prevent debris from coming into door jambs
Paint/bodywork is relatively fresh at only ~3 years old
Coilover/front fork setup is off a CRX, which gives an overall shorter shock body height, therefore giving you a lower stance without sacrificing piston travel or breaking spring-preload

    Bads:
    (gonna be very honest here)
Status seat will NOT come with the car... nor will my amp/sub setup (a stock seat will be in its place before purchase)
    Motor burns a little oil
2 very very slight cracks in cluster/ac vent bezel
A few tiny nicks in headliner
Steering wheel has typical stock Honda wheel wear along top, and has mis-matching horn button colors
Tires need to be replaced within the next few months
Drivers airbag was disabled for use of an aftermarket steering wheel
There's a random dead moth inside of passenger side reverse light haha
Paint could use a good detail/buffing, as there are a few scratches around front of hood and slight swirls on roof, yet it still looks deep and vibrant after a good wash/wax.
Small crack in the upper right side of the windshield just appeared the other day, maybe about 6" long
Tiny chip in paint on very front of hood (half a dime sized)
Tiny ding on rear quarter next to passenger door (dime sized)
Both fenders have paint damage from a combination of too low and too many wheel spacers, so they would need to be replaced. Damage isn't horribly noticable though if you're not looking for it, but you can definitely see it
Metal door window mouldings are chipping slightly and need a fresh coat of trim black paint

As I stated before, I love this car to death, I just don't have what it takes to keep building it. I've driven this thing to and from FL a few times and up to ATL so many times I can't begin to count and it's NEVER once given me random problems, besides a couple routine things going bad from normal wear & tear (starter/alt/battery/etc). To be honest, my dream is to have someone to throw a simple B swap in it and track the shit out of it. It was my ultimate goal, but my drive and vision just got lost in the haze I guess.

I paid $3800 for this thing when I bought it, and have spent a good bit of money making improvements here and there since then. I've had it posted a while back when it was on the SSR's and almost got my asking price of $6000, but with a few minor repairs needing to be tended to, I'll start the bidding at:

    $4500 OBO

Only looking to sell at this point, unless you have a CLEAN 94-97 Accord Wagon in AUTO.

Sorry I forgot to mention the car is located in Columbus GA, and I would prefer the buyer come to me to pick it up... BUT depending on certain circumstances I MAY be willing to meet in Newnan but no further than that.
