I feel like I'm getting old for honda/acura, but would love that have this car for a dd. This one is mint, one of the cleanest i have seen. Sounds like you take good care of it. Bump for a clean car and good luck.

    Thanks for complying.

Can i offer some constructive criticism? $15,000 for an ITR with a rebuilt motor (one that spun a bearing previously) and with pretty bad rear quarter panel damage is a little excessive.

There are almost perfect ITRs going for $10-11K with no body damage. Ive been looking at picking up one recently so i have done alot of research.

You may want to get the damage fixed or re-evaluate your price based on the damage and things that are missing from the car.

May want to post up where the motor was rebuilt, what machine shop it was at, etc. Post receipts for all the new parts you have.

    Good luck

link to 10-11k$ type-r's?, if anything the rebuilt motor would help the price...and the damage to the quarter can be fixed for 400$ , it is really not that bad. and there is nothing missing from the car except the A/C belt. and my price does say OBO next to it...and also i am in no rush to sell...

    perfect ITR = 23k+.

Ive found 10-15 ITRs with sub 120k on them for $10,000-12,000.

    ALl over EBAY and Honda-Tech.

The only ones bringing over that are ones with under 100k and have the optional sideskirts, factory valve cover, etc.

I have yet to seen any ITR go for over 20K , not in the last 2-3 years. Absolute MINT condition ones with under 50k ive seen for $17,000 so i dont know where you came up with $23,000

From the pics it looks like its missing stuff that came on original ITRs.

    Factory AIrbox
    Factory Valve Cover

Seats look pretty dirty in the pics unless its the flash. Robbie was selling this car for $11,000 which is about what it was worth, you blew the motor up, replaced it, and want $4000 more but you didnt say who built the motor and didnt post an receipts. This engine spun a rod bearing so i would like to know who swapped the crank, bearings, etc out. Did you replace the oil pump?

Believe me or not i was interested in the car which is why i told you to post a price. You posted a price i think is a little excessive so i wanted some clarification.

But if you think its worth that then good luck

EDIT: anyone that says they can fix that quarter panel for $400 is doing a **** job of it, IMO. Thats a good $1000-1200 to do it right. Its rippled and its bad enough that the back bumper doesnt line up at all

I saw a 100% stock ITR in Cali for $16,000 with 80,000 miles on it. It was sold by the time I called him. =|

I was interested in the car until I saw the body damage and found out the motor spun a rod bearing.

Best of luck on the sale.

i do not expect to get 15k. it is really negotiable. i am entertaining offers as of now because i do not know if i want to get rid of it. that is the original valve cover painted black. list of new parts in the motor has been posted. and by all means , constructive criticism is appreciated

do you have receipts? WHO BUILT THE MOTOR?

Id offer you $8500 for it considering the damage and the motors history, etc.

Maybe if you clear some of that stuff up we can talk more

Seems like you dont want to answer my questions.

    WHO BUILT THE MOTOR?
DO YOU HAVE RECEIPTS FOR ALL THE PARTS?

Was the motor slapped together by some asshat or was it assembled by a professional?

DId you really buy a NEW OEM crank like you claim or was it a 200k mile GSR crank?

These are questions i would like answers too, if you arent willing to provide them then buyer beware.

These are simple questions if all you would do is answer we may be able to work something out. But based on what you have posted its worth less than $10,000 IMHO

so you have zero proof that this motor was rebuilt with new oem parts like you stated. I'm sorry but new crank and rods is over 2000$ in parts not to mention the rest of the stuff. You should have receipts for that or your lieing sorry.

No one spends that much with no proof. Why didn't you just buy another longblock?

The motor spun a bearing and if you truly replaced those parts you should have documentation. How do we know u didn't just turn the stock crank and slap it in with new bearings? Was any machine work performed? What size bearings?

Sorry but based on your shady info I'm no longer interested. Buyer beware and I hope people truly look over the car before purchase

I never knew, having a motor rebuilt. Would bring the value of a car down!!! ITs funny on how many cars have been on IA for sale with replaced/rebuilt motors, and ive never seen the value come down due too that, im sure a few people on here have blown a few motors and rebuilt them and sold them for the price they wanted.....

Other then body damage, im sure its a nice running car, thats why the buyer should always inspect a car 100% and ask for proof of motor being rebuilt, not try to drag a car thru the mud on the internet, becasue of the previous owner relationship...

I think if someone was truly intrested they would call about this car, making a phone call is alot easier then typing a story online!

the motor was beat when i bought it...i have done everything the RIGHT way and cut no corners...i welcome anyone to come test-drive the car to the fullest and tell me they are not satisfied with its performance. really , mr. kidd...8500? what do you think, the motor was not rebuilt at all and its still knocking?

Other then body damage, im sure its a nice running car, thats why the buyer should always inspect a car 100% and ask for proof of motor being rebuilt, not try to drag a car thru the mud on the internet, becasue of the previous owner relationship...

I think if someone was truly intrested they would call about this car, making a phone call is alot easier then typing a story online!
thnx, reps when i can. oh and i stop by julio's house all the time...that CRX is gunna be crazy, last i saw it he was taking out the valves from the head to send it off for fully builtness
