    yes there is a vtec zc and a non vtec zc because i have owned both me and my son both had 91 hatches and mine was a non vtec zc and his was a vtec zc and yes they were both sohc. and you can do a search for jdm motors and you can find the vtec and the non vtec usually on the same site.

    sorry but you may want to do a little more researching.. as honda4life said there is a sohc zc vtec and a sohc zc non vtec. My brother has owned both and they are both the same just one doesnt have a vtec solenoid placement.

    ehhhh wrong. I had a sohc ZC in my 89 Civic Si. It's just a JDM D16a6.
