    Default 96 civic ex oil leak problem

    ok so my civic been sittin for a while and i open the hood and saw that the header was wet where it bolts to the head so i was like naybe it got wet so i cranck it and took it for a ride and came back home but today i cranck it and it was smokin inside the engine compartment and it was smokin comin out from header so i look closely and my header has a crack and saw oil can anybody tell me why this happen i mean it runs good and all but im lost

    Valve cover gasket has gone bad if oil is running down on exhaust manifold replace and problem fixed

    Exactly what he said above. Just inspect around the cylinder head and valve cover. And find a way to seal that crack on the header.

    i took the headers off and saw oil in number 4 port could it be valve stem seals or the piston rings
