Default Del sol intake mani ?

I'm putting in a skunk2 intake manifold in my del sol but am having a really hard time getting the lower center nut off the original one connected to the block. Engine is still in car. Any advice?

get two nuts, put one backwards and one regular, tighten up the nuts onto one another, use a wrench on the nut closest to the block and turn that bitch until she unscrews!

I cant even get a wrench on the nut. The space is too small. It's fucking awkward...

Are you coming in from the top? Its easier to take the oil filter off and come from underneath

this and you may have to use the open end of a wrench. But be careful and don't force the nut, you may strip out the head of the nut. if that makes any sense.....and if you have a short wrench it may be easier.

I'm going in from the bottom and yes, the oil filter is in the way... The torque on the nut is too great for any wrench I have and it is so awkward to put a hand up in there and try to get a grip on the nut. Ugh...
