    Default 94 Accord problem

When I turn my car off, the radiator fan comes on. It stays on for about 2-3 min then turns off. It does not turn on while car is running. Another thing that started happening exactly around the same time is, my reverse lights stay on when the car is running.. When I shift into reverse, the reverse lights turn off. What is causing this?

Honestly, it sounds like a short in the system thats causing things to be reversed…no pun intended. I couldn't tell you where, but do the easy thing first…check under the hood and make sure all the electrical wires are connected to what they're supposed to be connected to.

Sounds like the spring that goes behind the reverse sensor on your tranny going bad

Sounds like a relay issue to me, but thats a blind guess. Get another fan relay, try it out and see what happens.

It stopped happening after i topped off the radiator??? I've read somewhere that doing that solved one guys issue and it seems like it did the same for me..the temperature used to rise at a long stop light (due to the fan not working while the car was on) and that has also stopped.

How low was the coolant? Maybe it had something to do with the thermostat/fan switch not reaching a certain temp? again, just taking stabs at it. btw, what motor is in your accord? f22b1?b2?
