New To Imports

Hi, im interested in learning about the import game...i have a few questions and they are as follow:

I have a 93 Honda Accord LX with a stock f22a1 sohc engine, i want to build my engine to be fast as fuck pretty much sums it up, i need someone to please reply with what i can do to the engine to "beef" it up so i can learn and get into the imports.
