    Default seam sealer

So I have been working on my bay, trying to clean it up and shave it a bit. I'm welding shut some of the holes in the bay and I have been taking the seam sealer off and now I'm left with all these seams. What do you guys think I should do? Grind down the seams as much as I can and then weld the seams, and apply a thin layer of filler? Or should I just grind the seams and leave it at that? I'm not doing a complete shaved bay, just want a clean bay with no seam sealer. I hate how the sealer looks. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks ia

That would probably be the best method. grind out what you can and use filler.

So u wouldn't need to weld the seams at all? Has anyone done this before?

If you want your bay to have cracks and paint peeling in a couple years, yes, use filler

If I used a filler, I would use evercoat metal glaze or USC icing. I have heard real good stuff from both, they def aren't your ordinary fillers.
