    Default dying issue

    having an issue with my car lately, ill be driving just fine then my car dies while driving. ive checked for loose grounds but i cant spot anything. could it be my ground on the starter?

    the ground on the starter wouldnt make it die while running , i'd check the alt connectors , and when you say dies when running , is it gas or electrical dying?

    electrical. like id give it gas when its dying to try to keep it going but it just bogs down then dies..have to pull over wait for a min then i can crank it back up. i just popped my hood and noticed on the ground to the starter that it looks like its been spliced together but idk..im outta options

    take it to the nearest parts store and have them run an electrical systems test , its free

    none of the parts stores here do obd1 testing. so back to square one...also it isnt my altnator cuz my battery isnt dead

    I would point towards the distributor, i had the same problem with a camaro, granted its different but my car would die all of a sudden and then start back up after a few minutes. Result was, my distributor was bad...

    damn, could be anything, distributor, fuel pump, wires, etc

    Well I just redid the birdnest of a wiring job going to my ecu and it hasn't done it yet

    hope you getting working man! mine did this when the ground came loose but you said you dont think it is that

    I just replaced my coil the other day costs 60 bucks and as long as you don't strip the screw on the rotor button its really easy

    oh i know how to do just about everything on a honda now lol.
