Default 93 del sol electrical probs

speedo needle was moving back and forth then would go to normal, then it went out completely. this is the second speedo sensor ive been thru. what would cause it to keep going out?, its not throwing any codes or anything. the connector for it doesnt clip on it just slides. id pull over and mess with it but i still doesnt work.

Look at the wires on the VSS and make sure there not damaged..Is the clip connecting correct? Like above, never had this problem but thats the first thing i would do.

I've seen something similar in a civic. It was damaged wiring in the dash. When you have replaced the speed sensor before, did it fix the problem at first?
