Take it to a shop!! Let them degree the cams, and also set the timing so ecu is in line with dizzy.. Worth the cost!!

Hmm, easiest way to explain is my example.. Using a jumper wire we put ecu in Limp mode/ diaignostic mode, then do you move dizzy to timing of 14-16 degree's.. Once set you remove the jumper.. The ecu will now see the postion on the dizzy, meaning timing is set!! "In line" was a short term lingo i used, not really proper term..sry!!

in your case with h22 you'll be looking in the tranny hole.. Should have a white TDC mark plus others, correct?

    Edit:
Digital timing light makes life easy, since your reference point is TDC(white mark).. Explain what you see and type of light?

OK, i missed a post above.. Go back to cam gears, be sure both marks line up side by side, look in tranny hole to be sure it's a TDC.. Sounds like you are off a tooth or 2...LOL

List cams you have also.. cant guess on moving cam gears, since each motor is different the proper way is to degree the cams in with a degree wheel..

Should have white mark, that is top dead center.. Red is timing mark when setting(using light).. Being the cams are unknown, and if the head has been shaved, i would let a shop degree the cams in.. Need to find a part number on the cams so you can search for a cam card(specs) online..

Your shooting in the dark right now, and really need someone with better knowledge to help you more!!

dude, you need to take this setup to a professional shop. I don't know if you are going to get it right. Let a shop set it up- it will be cheaper than replacing your engine because you messed something up.
