I've got a '96 GSR motor that I want to put in a '94 civic dx. I know I need an OBD1 ECU, question is... which one do I need? I'm getting confused by the A01, A02, A03, A04.
What's the difference?

Well, no difference. You need a obd2a P72 to run this motor if you stay the same as the motor came originally.
A01,2,3,4 whatever means, it is a usdm ecu and manual transmission.
You should run OBD1 ecu since it is going in an obd1 compliant car.
I'm plannning to run an OBD1 ecu, I just didn't understand the A01, A02 etc.
OBD1 P72. don't worry about the other stuff.
