Well I made a post about a year ago asking IA reasons why my power windows and locks weren't working but I guess the new site/server does not have all of the old threads. So, I thought I had it narrowed down to a bad relay but this is what I found:

OK, as an update that I’m sure many of you will think is worthless but will fulfill intelligent ppl such as myself who use the search function**

As per Hayne’s manual the problem areas with power features (windows) are in a few major places:
1. The switch itself
2. The fuse
3. The relay
4. The wiring

I thought it was the relay but could not locate which one it was. It is the one on the interior fuse panel, a 4-pin relay in the middle of the 3. This was not my case.

Mine was the wiring in the door which had been exposed to rain that had collected in the door panel and caused some corrosion on the plastic and wiring. The wiring goes from the door's control switch then meets up with all other door wiring as a bundled conduit. I’m still working on re-wiring it, but I can get the window and power locks all to run now. carry on
