Default how to tell what kind of transmission i have

ok last night i was given a tranny from an obd-0 civic, it was connected to a d15b vtec motor. i have looked for 2 hours, called dealers and nobody can tell me if it is an dx, lx, ex, or si tranny. the sticker or label says L3-1259551 so i am wondering how i will find out what it is. i know they have to have some way to tell in the serial number there but i can't find any info. reps given to all who answer and i hope since it was on a d15b vtec it's an Si tranny. thanks everyone!!!
