Default HELP: Civic Runs To Rich

    Year: 1995
    Make: Honda
    Model: Civic DX
    Motor Type: JDM D15B VTEC

I took my civic to get emissions and it failed the Hydrocarbons test and the Carbon monoxide test. My CO % Read at 9.19 and it has to be 0.94 or under and my HC ppm read a 298 and it has to be 167 or under. I have reset the timing and replaced the spark plugs adjusted the valve lash. i have no idea on what else i can do. i know there is something wrong cause the CEL is on but when i try to jump it off the SRS blinks and the CEL stays steady.
    I don't drive a ricer, I drive a f*cking RICER!

try and google what problem you are having, i always find that helpful. year, make , then model, forward slash then the problem.

check the codes. If it needs to be tuned we can do that for you.

Sounds like you may have a bad ecu if the cel will not jump. But try advancing the timing all the way and see what it will do.
