Default 1988 Civic DX. Need help ID'ing some rogue wires.

I am working on this hatch (88 DX) and I have basically been trying to fix the previous owners hack job on a B20 swap. I have 3 wires that I need help identifying based on location on car and color.

First pic is of 2 wires coming off my chassis harness near my ECM. They have been depinned from something and I am really not sure how to figure out what from.

2nd pic is from a wire that has been depinned and stripped from the driver shock tower plug. I can reconnect it I think where it belongs on the plug, but I would REALLY like to know why it was cut in the first place.

Any help is extremely appreciated. I think I have most of the bugs worked out of this thing now but I still can't get it to run. I know one of the reasons is shitty grounds in the engine bay but these wires have me worried.
