i need 9004 6k Hid bulbs only ... got in a wreck and busted my bulbs but the Ballast? are still ok and still work .. i actually only need 1 bulb ... do i have to rebuy another kit or can i jus buy a bulb ????

I recommend to get a pair of bulb atleast. Because they will be different color.

You don't want to drive around with one yellow and one white bulb in your car.

why would they be a diff color ? i thought the 8k hid kit's were like a blue color ??? i have almost no clue about HID's .... so wuts the difference ? and the ones i have is a 6k kit and its like a Blueish tint/white

just to help a lil... it depends on the brand... some brands 5000k is a white and others it may be 6-6500K... i used to have a brand that was 8000K and it was a diamond white and my gf had a different brand of 8500K and they were blue... even if you have the same brand and a bulb goes out, if you get a new bulb from the same brand, it may differ in color slightly... due to the age and use of the bulb

When you use your bulbs, each bulb has a life time. Therefore, if you have one new and one old bulb in it eventhough they are the same color. You will still see the differences.

the K doesn't mean anything. but the color would be diamond white on the 8000k from our manufacture. But possibly the color on your bulbs 6000k may be different for different reason, the hours usage in your car and the design of the bulb from the manufacture could cost the different color .

so good luck. the closest I can recommended is get the bulb where you purchase the kits originally. You may get a close match in the color.

but I recommend to purchase a pair of bulb instead of one. Make sure the connector is the same as on your ballast.

thanks for the tips and i see what your talking about .... well whats your blueish tint bulbs ? kinda dont want diamond white but like a blueish color .... is there a color chart i can choose from ?
