    Default HALP PLZ!

I've been on this site for 5 years, and I know I'm a noob and all, but can someone please exprain to me how to properly make a part out thread? Is my only option to tear every nut and bolt out of the car and get a picture and description of each? I figure if you're looking at a thread of that nature, you already know what you want. Any input on this matter is appreciated

-ALL items must have an actual price. This includes items for TRADE as well.

-ALL items $50 and over MUST have an actual picture.

That don't really answer my question, holmes. I read that already. There are a bunch of items under 50 bucks and theres more than one item being sold. Are you saying if I take a picture of a tap screw from the interior of my accord and list it, my part out thread won't be deleted?

I have plenty of rep on this site, I've been here long enough, I've never sold anything stolen, what's the harm in me posting a thread parting out my car? I dont see a problem with interested parties PMing me and asking me if i have something.

I tried to do a part out thread a while back, and honestly on here it's more trouble than its worth. I ended up doing mine via craigslist and some other forums.

I have no problem going to CL, I would just rather offer the stuff to someone within the community if I could, you know?

A while back, I posted my 240SX for sale in the Parts Section because I was only selling the SR20 swap. The buyer just happen to get the completely running car as a bonus. I would assume that if you did post it in the Parts Section, make sure you list the proper numbers like the VIN and block codes and stuff like that if this is what you are trying to accomplish. If you are selling the shell, make certain you explain that the shell would be the last to go unless the buyer wants everything attached to it. Not sure if this helps, but......

Here's what I tell people on this subject. Get pictures of the main pieces. If you have door hinges, and they aren't $50, then don't worry about that. Seats, door panels, dashes need pics. That's not that hard to do. Under the hood? The engine and tranny (and of course their respective numbers), alternators, just your larger pieces. Of course the outside of the car is easy enough. You don't have to take the car apart to get pictures of really anything. Later, QD.
