Not sure if you guys will like this idea, but figured I'd ask.

Wondering if it's a bad idea....?

A sub-forum in the sponsors section for users to post things they need done to their cars.

i.e. Body work, Engine work, window tint, parts needed.

Then sponsors could PM estimates or prices to perform the job.
(if the sponsors were allowed to post in thread, I think it would cause controversy/bidding wars, but maybe not)

I know we can PM, or ask for estimates in a thread already, but there have been many times I needed something done to a car asap, and I got it done that day for the cheapest offer proposed.

i.e. Core support replaced, radio wired up, brake job, motor pull/install, etc...

This could also help out by giving the sponsors an option to bring in more business.

i.e. Someone post that they need a head gasket replaced on an Integra LS asap...and Silversol wants to make an extra buck, he replies with an estimate for the work, even though he doesn't necessarily do work on members cars per say, we all know he is capable.

Cons: yes I'm sure Non-sponsor members would PM their backyard discounts, but if monitored by the mods, these members could easily be banned, especially if it is made known that all non-sponsors will be banned if they offer services to a user, also have members report any abuse of this rule known, and mods could do the research in PM mailboxes. I guess you would also state that no phone numbers could be posted in the sub-forum threads posted by users. This site has always had a lot of member support for the mods, I think ya'll can make it work.

I think if done correctly it could profitable to both parties.

A section for vehicles for sale under $3000 or $4000

Not to point fingers and I mean no harm, but members are notorious for posting unrealistic prices for their vehicles on this site. This could help weed out some of them in the Honda For Sale section...
