Yeah Dan gets a pretty big cut of the details. But he covers sponsoring on about 10 sites, and has a huge customer base he sells to. Plus we just picked up a contract with the owner of Legendary Metals last week so if that guy sends us 5 cars only a month it will bring a huge source of income to the business alone.
Yeah see Matt your lucky. All that money you make on the side gets easily consumed into the business since you dont "have" to pay yourself through your business. Only reason it taking my longer to get a trailer and everything.

I will be out of town thursday through saturday, should be back in town saturday mid afternoon, so if your up this way we can meet up. Dude I am booked the next 2-3 weeks with 4 full corrections and a meeting at another performance shop for hopefully doing all there race cars before each event. So my days off are going to be pretty hectic.
I mean i was receiving 67% but on a $100 detail I could have done out of my garage at home, i was making $67. I guess I shouldnt complain though, having work to do is better then no work, and im kinda kicking myself for closing that channel, but I have gotten a few people since then and I am sure this coming summer people are going to still need their cars cleaned so I may just try to pursue it again. Holy crap run on sentence.
Yeah but where you happy even at 67%? Because I can tell you know thats a better % then what I get up at Zen.
But I agree its business you would not have. But like I said if this new contract pans out through Zen, then I wont care to bitch about %'es because this contract will bring plenty of business and exotic work.
At the time I was not quite so happy, because hell, i worked on this car for half/full day while the shop guy only provided me with like $5 worth of water and $3 worth of electricity for the vacuum. But now i look at it as he needs to get by too. Back then though I was also a greenhorn stereo installer at the shop, so it was either get paid by the hour installing or when a detail came in get paid 67% of the total price. For me like i said, Id be happy with 67% now since it would more likely guarantee me work.
