I helped a friend install rings on his b18 bored .20 over the other day. When he did two of the pistons he installed the second compression ring upside down. I know the rings has a top side with (top) on it and he had them switched. He did not realize this until the motor was fully assembled. We started it anyway and no smoke no nothing and it ran strong on the dyno 18psi. What I want to know is there going to be anything go wrong with it in the long run?
