    Default FADING CARBON FIBER hood

    is there anyway that you can fix the blemishes on the hood...i think its wax it looks oxidized....can you wet sand w/ 2000 then buff and polish?

    if u wet sand it, then you have to get a rubbing compound that will cover the marks left by the sandpaper. Then polish and wax.

    yeah sure you can do that but like the others said you will need a buffer some rubbing compound and some polish. It's very simple but if you do not know how to use a buffer I would let someone else do it. It is very easy to catch a corner and take off the clear coat and/or paint on fenders on the edges. Be careful around plastic also.
    After that it should come out almost like the day you took it out the plastic! Hope I've helped!!
