You do not have to get a new motor but you will have to atleast rebuld that one.
If the motor only blew a seal then it is not going to be too expensive to rebuild.
But, it that seal damaged the rotor housing at all it can be costly.
Im not sure of any shops that deal with Rx-7s, but if im not mistaken Mudavi Motorsports has done some work with them.
MazCare in Marietta if you want to swap out the motor.
Juan Delgado or David Girod if you want to rebuild it.
It can be as simple as that.
does juan or david work at mazcare?..thanks
my bro got some work done at mudavi..just told me not to go..dont know why..
mahdavi has some sky rocket prices thats why....
No, Charlie owns MazCare. Good work, a little pricey, but always dependable.Originally Posted by animeyo
Juan works at Jim Ellis Mazda as a master tech.
David has just been doing the stuff for years and does it for pretty cheap.
Any of them are excellent. They are on all different sides of the city, so someone will be close to you.
hmm i dont think i've met David yet. Mind giving me his number?
