    Default Smoking your Tailights?

hey i am wanting to smoke my tailights and my side blinkers and was wondering how you go about doing it by myself? Is there a kit to buy to do it or what do you need to do it and how so? thank you

yeah take the taillights off, and do a coat at a time. niteshades drys pretty quick. just don't go nuts with coats and make them too dark. i suggest also getting some clear cloat( high dollar rattle can or spray) and doing a coat or 2 of it as well. nitesides tends to have flat look when dry

the niteshades a lone will look very flat. and will also fade after a month or two.

do it the right way and take it to a shop or if you can, take some clear coat and put a few drops of black in it, and lay a few coats on. it'll look very glossy, thats how i did mine.

if you use niteshades, make sure you apply them evenly on both lights, my friend ended up doing one heaver than the other. they both look identical, but when the light comes on, they emit different intensities.
dont take anything i say srsly. its the interwebs.

i used the film to black out my lights. Did that because its reversible and my tails are still glossy....only thing i need to do for maintenance or anything is put a coat of wax on it once every few months.

does the spray affect you tailights at all as far as the light getting through? and your saying use the nightshades and then put a couple coats of clear coat to make them look more glossy?
