    needs to be sleeved.

    honda service manual says that if there is VERTICAL scratches the block is to be thrown away.

    you cant even go 84.5mm

    vertical scratches means the cylinder walls have excessive wear. per honda service manual vertical scratches calls for an overbore an hone.

    usually on B16/LS/GSR/ITR you can go .10 .20 over. i have done motors that are .40 over as well.

    on the B20s, they use a thinner sleeve, and honda says basically you cant even hone it.
