Default Clutch fluid on VW Jetta

Buddy said he was having problems getting car into gear. I am gonna look today, he said he can't locate the clutch fluid in the car? Does it feed from the MBC?

clutch fluid is shared with brake fluid, both run off the Master cylinder. The clutch does have a slave.
Before you look into that, try redoing the shift linkages.
