    Default GSR information

I am interested in getting a GSR pretty soon in the summer, just curious what the average going rate is for ones in decent condition? Also, did the body style ever change or are there certain years I should avoid or anything like that?

    Thanks

i thought most integra's were b18? when did the gsr change between engines and is there anything better/worse about the b18 vs b17 other than b18 has more hp/displacement? is the only difference between the gsr and the ls/rs/gs the motor/tranny (other little factory installed options too, but i mean major)?

I love my GSR. And I got a pretty good deal on it. Its a fully loaded 98 in great condition with 67k on it when I bought it. The guy that was selling it didnt know what it was worth. I threw 8,000 cash and he signed over the title like it was diseased.
If you be patient you will find good deals. Stay away from dealerships when looking for GS-Rs. From my search I found out that they know what they are worth and will hike the price way above what its worth. I remeber seeing a green 96 GSR at Acura Carland with 120k miles and they were asking $7,000 + my car as a trade + tax.

As for the engine. The 1.7L was for the 92 & 93 Integra. In 94 they switched to the 1.8L.

Yes the B17 was from 92-93 and was only used for those two years. 92-93 are the old school body styles and 94 up are the newer body styles running the B18C1.

do you guys think its worth it to hold on and look for a 98-01 GSR or are the changes minimal between 94-97 and 98-01?

as far as motor goes, 94-96(obd1) and 97-01(obd2) are the same except for obd..the only thing is the front bumper changes a bit...

    Bore: 81mm
    Stroke: 87.2mm
    Intake: 0.15-0.19mm
    Exhaust: 0.17-0.21mm
    Compression Ratio: 10.0:1
