    Hello I have a 91 Honda Civic Hb and I've been trying to find a shop in or around qwinett that handles engine swaping?

    DIY? .... just a suggestion. you can use the 1500 for installation to buy a damn turbo or something.

    $1500 for install??? where you been getting yours done?? i didnt pay that much for my motor, tranny, mounts AND labor when i had my delsol

    oh indeed but when your mech goes b16a2 and gives you a motor/tranny set for CHEAP and installs for under $1k....LOL



    anyway you cut it though, ive NEVER seen $1500 for labor (unless you get a new tbelt, head gasket, water pump) and even then its not that much.

    u got ALL that for less than 1500???? what kind of motor?


    Edit: yeah the only place ive been i asked the dude what his prices were and he said to swap a b16 into a crx it was 3200.... and i can get a b16 off hmotorsonline for $1700 .... so thats 1500 for installation

    SO WRONG. you forgot about ALOT

    There is a $300 mount kit, $100 shift linkage , $100 in axles cause HMOTORSONLINE.COM only comes with axles if you order the ENTIRE SWAP, most people dont.

    Usually a VTEC motor we charge $700 to RR, thats pull your motor out and install the b16. that assumes your MPFI already.

    We cahrge $35 shop supply fee (oil, coolant)


    In short, to the OP, Mainstream Performance does motor swaps, that is the shop i work for. We are located about 40 min from Gwinette.
