    Default vtec question?

    i have a d16a6 and just picked up a d16z6 head , anyone plz inform me on ... if it is an easy swap , what i will need to do it , will there be any extra parts i need to buy , and if i put this on will it mean my car will be vtec? thanx

    some one else just recently just asked this same question. got a helpful link to H-T.com . Im sure its simple IF* your mechanically incline and you will need to wire vtec, SOHC vtec ECU (p28 assuming you have an obd1) Head gasket maching block. I would leave it for a shop if you never rewired a car or changed TB or swap heads at that

    Along with the head you'll need a new dizzy, ecu, 2 wires for VTEC, spark plugs, wires and timing belt

    i'm sure theres more involved to it like plugging holes, etc theyre two totally diff heads... i'm not a honda person but yeah man research it somewhere or go to hondatech
